The Make is proud to partner with Uprise! Youth Activism Camp. We're an arts, youth mentoring, and action project, coincidentally born at the first "the Make" at Wheelock Mountain Farm, which was the initial inspiration for Uprise! We have done a bunch of actions and projects, including; Break Free - 3,000+ people stopping the dangerous fracked oil trains for a day in Albany, NY; Ongoing arts production, action training, and action support for movements in VT; and Free Arts Fridays, a free drop-in for teens and artists at the Plainfield Community Center in Plainfield, VT, where we help teens get plugged into the kinds of organizing and activism they're interested in.
